EUBID PROJECT "EU SUPPORT TO BUSINESS INCUBATOR DEVELOPMENT"

04.11.2019. 09:12h

The Startup Center is one of the selected business incubator initiatives that goes into the Peer review process of evaluation and development within the EUBID project "EU Support to Business Incubator Development".

On June 26, 2019, our Center hosted an EUBID workshop when, in addition to facilitators and project moderators, we hosted colleagues from the International University of Novi Pazar and Think Innovative from Nis.

Peer review process is organized in the form of workshops that share experiences of Host incubators, colleagues from other incubators as well as stakeholders (municipalities, universities, incubator residents, alumni), with the aim of defining a strategy for further development of incubators for the next 3 - 5 years.

The EUBID project should contribute to increasing the competitiveness and innovation of beginners in the business. The European Union-funded project is worth 1.5 million euros, implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, the Contracting and Financing Sector of EU funds and the Ministry of Economy.

The EUBID project helps develop the capacity of business incubators so that the services they provide to start-ups in the business are aligned with their needs and the requirements of the modern market.

Business incubators are centers that support the development of beginners in the business. The biggest advantage of business incubators is that they provide services that are tailored to the needs of beginners. Some of these services include office space leasing, use of shared resources, professional consulting services, networking with partners, potential customers, scientific and other institutions, as well as services to improve access to funding sources.

Improving the quality and expanding the range of services that business incubators provide to customers creates the preconditions for further growth and development of beginners in the business. In this way, business start-ups become more competitive and resilient to the challenges of the market in the early years of business.
